ABOUT

As an artist, I am inspired by the natural world and the deep-rooted stories that shape our connection to the environment. My work explores the relationship between water, landscape, and folklore, using screen printing and natural pigments to create layered, expressive pieces.

Folklore and mythology play a crucial role in my work, through symbolic imagery, I weave together narratives that explore our historical and emotional ties to nature. These stories, passed down through generations, serve as a reminder of our collective responsibility to the environment. My most recent work is inspired by tales of the thin veil between worlds. In folklore they say it is thinnest in the time between light and dark. this series was created on foggy days just after sunrise.

Sustainability is an integral part of my process. By using natural pigments sourced from the earth, I aim to create work that is both environmentally conscious and deeply connected to the landscapes that inspire me. This approach reinforces the importance of respecting and preserving our natural resources.

Ultimately, my work is about creating and emotional connection to the land, and to the myths that have shaped our understanding of the world. I hope to inspire people to reflect on our relationship with nature and encourage a deeper appreciation for the fragile beauty that surrounds.
